Daniel Angell, M.S., CAGS
School Psychologist and Educational Liaison
Mr. Daniel Angell received his Bachelor's Degree from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, and his Master's Degree and Certification of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) from Northeastern University in Boston. In addition to his position as Educational Liaison at The Counseling Center, Daniel is presently employed as a School Psychologist in the Salem (NH) School District, where he has worked for the previous 7 years. Daniel also has experience with school-sponsored and private tutoring in many subject areas.
Mr. Angell is certified by the New Hampshire Department of Education in the area of School Psychology. He is also a member of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
Mr. Angell mainly conducts psychological and academic assessments of learning, behavioral, or emotional difficulties in the school setting to assist with developing comprehensive recommendations for IEPs and 504 plans. Mr. Angell has had extensive experience participating in Special Education meetings as well as in providing formal and informal consultation to special educators and classroom teachers. From these experiences Daniel has developed a solid knowledge of Special Education procedures and laws, which serves him well in his work as an Education Liaison supporting parents and school systems to develop meaningful IEP or Section 504 plans for students in need of services.
