Lori Bellino, Ph.D.
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Bellino earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She went on to earn her master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Boston, and her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and Behavioral Medicine from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Bellino has training and experience in providing direct psychological services and conducting clinical research. She is currently licensed in New Hampshire and is a member of the American Psychological Association.
Dr. Bellino provides individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. In addition to her general practice of psychology, she specializes in treating a broad spectrum of substance use disorders ranging from problem drinking to substance dependence in adolescents and adults, as well as mood and anxiety disorders and interpersonal problems. She also specializes in helping individuals achieve positive health behavior changes, such as quitting smoking and initiating healthy diet and exercise patterns, coping with chronic illness and pain, and making lifestyle changes after being diagnosed with an illness (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointenstinal disorders), managing anger and stress, and reducing violent behavior.
