Dr. Fogler provides comprehensive neuropsychological assessment and psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults. He specializes in helping clients, their families, and their teachers or healthcare providers to understand complex diagnostic questions: When, why, and in what contexts might someone with psychiatric and learning/cognitive issues meet his or her full potential (and when something gets in the way, what is it, and how can we help overcome it)? His clinical work with adults focuses on overcoming the effects of growing up in dysfunctional families, managing posttraumatic stress reactions, reducing anxiety/panic, and improving family/marital and other relationships. With children and adolescents, he specializes in behavioral management (i.e., parenting, discipline, and behavior modification in the classroom), learning difficulties, and family counseling for parent-teen conflict. Dr. Fogler has presented and published professional articles on posttraumatic stress disorder, clergy-perpetrated sexual abuse, and the role of families in facilitating behavioral treatment for mood and anxiety disorders.
