Dr. Gallant earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts Boston (1984), her M.A. in counseling psychology at Antioch New England Graduate School (1988), her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in school psychology at the University of Massachusetts Boston (1995), and her doctorate degree in clinical psychology at Antioch University New England (2006). She has provided counseling, assessment, training, supervision, and consultation services in New Hampshire public schools for over 21 years. She is a licensed psychologist, a certified school psychologist, and a certified guidance counselor in New Hampshire.
Dr. Gallant currently serves on the faculty of Antioch University New England in the Clinical Psychology Program as a clinical supervisor to doctoral externs. She has served as adjunct faculty at Rivier College, Notre Dame College, and College for Lifelong Learning.
Dr. Gallant has extensive experience assessing and treating children and adolescents for a variety of issues including learning disabilities, developmental delays, divorce, grief/loss, behavior disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, trauma, depression, anxiety, and parenting challenges. She has received specialized training and consultation in the assessment and evidence-based treatment approaches for childhood trauma from Dartmouth Medical School for the past two years.
Dr. Gallant currently provides psychological assessment and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Gallant has experience and interest in assessment and treatment of mood disorders, learning disorders, developmental disorders, and eating disorders.
