Tonie Moran, Ph.D.
Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Moran is a licensed psychologist in Massachusetts and New Hampshire who graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1974 with a Ph.D. in psychology, after which she completed a post-doctoral year in organization development/community psychology. She has been a clinician for 26 years, and specializes in working with both couples and individual adults who are dealing with relationship issues, separation and divorce, career conflicts, chronic illness, grief and loss, anxiety, stress, assertion skills, and childhood abuse and trauma.

Dr. Moran has also designed, organized, and supervised comprehensive training programs in counseling and in psychology at both the Master’s and Doctoral degree levels for many years. She has taught courses on clinical diagnosis, group process, short-term therapy, women’s issues in counseling, and the psychological process of death and dying. She consults regularly with police departments about officer recruitment and assists with the interface between mental health professionals and law enforcement personnel.
