Credentials

Psychologists, Social Workers, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners, and
Psychiatrists at The Counseling Center are members of the American
Psychological Association or the NH Psychological Organization, the National
Association of Social Workers, the American Psychiatric Association, and the
American Nurses Association. Through these organizations, each provider is
carefully trained in and follows the ethical principals of practice put forth by
each national organization, which assures clients and patients professional
and responsible care. In addition, each provider is independently licensed in
the state in which they practice, and the medical board for psychiatrists in New
Hampshire, the Board of Examiners of Psychology and Mental Health Practice,
and the Board of Nursing in New Hampshire, regulate professional practice.
