Duffy

Mr. Duffy earned his undergraduate degree from St.
Bonaventure University with a major in psychology, where he
became a member of the National Honors Society in
Psychology. He received his master’s degree with a
specialization in clinical psychotherapy from Rivier College and
has worked at Nashua Children's Home for over 10 years
providing services to children, adolescents, and families. This
work included home based counseling to prevent the removal
of children from their homes due to abuse, neglect and
delinquent behavior and he also provided counseling services
to children living in residence, working toward family
reunification. Mr. Duffy also provided adult outpatient services
at a community mental health center for over 7 years where he
worked with a variety of clients ranging from mild adjustment
disorders to major mental illness, including couples and family
work, and domestic violence treatment. He is a licensed
clinical mental health counselor (LMHC)in New Hampshire and
a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors.

Mr. Duffy provides psychotherapy to individuals, couples and
families across a range of mental health issues. He maintains
specialty interest in working with parents on behavioral
management training for children, EMDR for trauma resolution,
and cognitive treatment of depression.
