Range of Services
Dr. Griffith earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology,
and graduated with cum laude distinction, from Dickinson
College in central Pennsylvania. Following several years of
providing in-home services for at-risk youth in rural North
Carolina, he earned his Doctor of Psychology degree from The
George Washington University in Washington, D.C. His
training experiences there included providing therapy and
psychological testing for local school systems and at the
George Washington University Center Clinic where he worked
with adults, adolescents, and children. Dr. Griffith completed
his pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at
Seacoast Mental Health Center in Portsmouth, NH. While
there, he provided adult outpatient psychological services,
including psychological testing, emergency services, and
psychotherapy to children and adults.

Dr. Griffith has a wide-range of clinical interests, and works with children, adolescents, and adults,
including working with depression, anxiety, trauma, adolescent issues, conduct disorder, parenting
issues, school problems, adults managing divorce, life transitions, personality disorders, and
relationship problems.

Dr. Griffith views psychotherapy as a collaboration aimed at fostering greater self understanding while
working toward personal change and symptom reduction. Dr. Griffith's goal is to help his patients reach
greater fulfillment in their lives by fostering understanding of the interpersonal patterns and unresolved
personal, life and/or relationship issues that contribute to the challenges they face.
