Dr. Sabrina Krum earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from
Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania prior to obtaining her
Master's of Science and Doctor of Clinical Psychology degrees at
Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Krum
completed an APPIC accredited pre-doctoral internship at Chrysalis
Health in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she provided outpatient and
in-home counseling, psychological and psychosexual evaluations. In
addition, she served as a member of a Broward County
multidisciplinary team addressing peer sexual abuse. Additionally,
Dr. Krum also developed a strong interest in the psychological
aspects of bariatric surgery and had the opportunity to complete a
training program at the Cleveland Clinic of Florida's Bariatric Surgery
Unit. During her time there, Dr. Krum lead psycho-educational groups
for prospective bariatric surgery clients and established a support
group for adult patients who were challenged to maintain the
necessary lifestyle changes after bariatric surgery.

Dr. Krum has broad clinical interests in assessing and treating children, adolescents, and adults, with
specific expertise in parent training and management of childhood behavioral problems (such as
Attention-Deficit Disorder, Conduct Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder), as well as in reducing
depression and anxiety, and resolving trauma from sexual abuse. She is proficient in conducting
psychological evaluations for the assessment of children, adolescents and adults for purposes of
educational placement, treatment planning, learning and memory assessment, work related disability,
and pre-surgical bariatric readiness. Dr. Krum is also able to conduct psychosexual evaluations for
children and adolescents who have engaged in sexually inappropriate behaviors to aid in determining
risk profiles and providing recommendations to aid in treatment.

At The Counseling Center, Dr. Krum maintains a general practice working with all ages and clinical
issues, and tailors counseling approaches to meet client needs with clinical best practice approaches
to help clients effect life change.
